Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This position will play a key role in evaluating and treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, concussion-related symptoms, vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, and musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about neurological rehabilitation, committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and thrives in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapy and rehabilitation services
- Treat patients experiencing TBI, concussion, vestibular dysfunction, balance impairments, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Develop and implement customized exercise and rehabilitation programs
- Collaborate with neurologists, nurse practitioners, speech therapists, and other clinical staff to coordinate patient care
- Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and recovery expectations
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintain compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Physical Therapist (PT) license or ability to obtain
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Experience with neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, concussion management, or balance rehabilitation is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred
